Als Eigentümer und Trainer hochklassiger Galopper, habe Randolph mit seinem Pferden viele prestigeträchtige Rennen in Frankreich gewonnen. Nach dem Rückzug aus diesem anstrengenden Geschäft, haben sie das luxuriöse Guesthouse MAISON LE PUR SANG in der gepflegten Gemeinde Durbanville eröffnet. Und der Name kommt nicht von ungefähr - LE PUR SANG ist der französische Begriff für Vollblüter, also für Galopp Rennpferde, mit denen sie lange Jahre Erfolge gefeiert haben. Als Reminiszenz an ihre Zeit im Pferderennsport, tragen die luxuriösen Zimmer und Suiten im MAISON LE PUR SANG die Namen der Galopprennbahnen, auf denen das Ehepaar ihre größten Erfolge gefeiert haben. Die Zimmer und Suiten heißen auch deshalb Chantilly, Deauville, Fontainbleau und Longchamps, wie die berühmten französischen Racetracks. Ansprechend ist auch die Austattung der Zimmer, die alle in individuellem Stil gehalten sind, dekorativ und stylisch. Es versteht sich von selbst, dass Evelyne und Randolph hier keine Kompromisse eingegangen sind, um Ihre Gäste zufrieden zu stellen. Eine überaus geschmackvolle und designorientierte Ausstattung findet sich überall, kombiniert mit der charmanten Dekoration von Evelyne. Jedes Zimmer verfügt über eine private Terrasse oder einen Balkon. Die luxuriösen Bäder sind mit Dusche und Badewanne ausgestattet, natürlich mit Haarfön und sehr schönen Badetüchern sowie Morgenmänteln mit hauseigenem Monogramm. Die Bettbezüge bestehen aus hochwertigem belgischem Leinen und in jedem Zimmer steht eine Espressomaschine bereit.

Ganz besonders hoher Wert wird auf den Service und das Frühstück für die Gäste gelegt. Evelyne hat einen Eigenen Bio-Garten angelegt, in dem Avocados, Limetten, Zitronen, Mangos, Feigen, Orangen, Granatäpfel und Kräuter aller Art angebaut werden. So versorgt sie die Gäste für das Frühstück ganz biologisch und frisch aus dem eigenen Garten. Natürlich bietet Evelyne Croissants,  belgische Waffeln, selbstgebackenes glutenfreies Brot und hausgemachte Marmelade an. Da hier alles Bio ist, sind es auch die Frühstückseier, denn im weitläufigen Garten von MAISON LE PUR SANG findet sich auch ein Gehege für Hühner. Auf Wunsch kann man bei Evelyne ein besonders üppiges Frühstück ordern, um sich für einen langen Tag am Kap zu rüsten. Sie ist ausgebildete Ernährungsberaterin und bietet ihren Gästen aus ihrem Biogarten, die besten Dinge zum Frühstück an.

Both hosts have been based in France for many years and have been professionally active in horse racing with lot’s of prestigious victories. After withdrawing from this exhausting business, they have opened the luxurious Guesthouse MAISON LE PUR SANG in the well-kept community of Durbanville. And the name comes not by chance - LE PUR SANG is the French term for thoroughbreds, gallop racehorses, with whom they have long celebrated their successes. As a reminder of their time in horse racing, the luxurious rooms and suites at Le Pur Sang bear the name of the racecourses. The rooms and suites are therefore named Chantilly, Deauville, Fontainbleau and Longchamps, like the famous French Racetracks.

Appealing is also the equipment of the rooms, which are all decorated in an individual style, decorative and stylish. Evelyne and Randolph have made no compromises here to please their guests. All rooms are individually, elegantly decorated in warm shades, each with a touch of glam. Each room has a private terrace or balcony. The Chantilly Suite has it‘s own private inside hot-tub for the real romantic experience. The luxurious bathrooms are equipped with shower and bathtub, of course with hair dryer and very nice bath towels and dressing gowns. The duvet covers are made of high quality Belgian linen and there is an espresso machine in every room: After a long day exploring the cape, the guests can enjoy the Mediteranian landscaped garden with it‘s different cosy terraces, Dolce Far Niente at the pool-area. There is also a Sauna and a Hot Tub for relaxation available. Very high value is placed on the service and breakfast for the guests. An organic garden, where avocados, limes, lemons, mangoes, figs, oranges, pomegranates and herbs of all kinds are grown, provides guests with breakfast. Evelyne has a background a a nutritionist and lifestyle coach, so she offers guests a varied plentyful breakfast, with some healthy homemade options such as gluten-free bread, fresh squeezed or mixed juices, healthy shots, bowls, yogurt, bio eggs, home-made jams and more every morning. She is trying to make the healthy option pure indulgence. Since everything here is organic, it is also the breakfast eggs, because in the spacious garden of MAISON LE PUR SANG there is also an enclosure for chickens. In summertime on request for the ladies, there is a daily 15 minutes workout at the pool.
